To ensure that you never have to wait more than 48 hours to access healthcare, we operate a Triage service.
You will be offered Triage if you want to book an appointment and we do not have any available within 48 hours. Alternatively, if you do not require an appointment but just want some advice, you can ask to use the Triage service when you call us.
To use the Triage service, you will need to give your name, telephone number (which can be a mobile), and a brief indication of your medical problem to our receptionist. A healthcare professional will then telephone you on the same day to help and advise you. If necessary, the triage doctor or nurse will be able to release an appointment for you, either on the same day, or at a time which is convenient for you.
This service is designed to ensure you can access healthcare when you need it, but please note that appointments offered through triage may not be with the doctor of your choice.
