Repeat prescription ordering
When you receive a prescription which is to be repeated, it has a counterfoil to enable you to reorder more medication when necessary.

Placing a repeat prescription order

There are three ways in which you can place a repeat prescription order:
Tick the items you require on the counterfoil and place it in the box on our reception desk;
Tick the items you require on the counterfoil and post it to us; or
Use our Internet prescription ordering service (you will need to contact us for a username and password before you can use this service).
Please note: we do not accept prescription orders over the telephone as this can lead to errors.

Collecting your prescription

Prescriptions will be ready for collection 48 hours after ordering (excluding weekends and bank holidays). You can collect your prescription from our reception, or we can post it to you, if you provide a SAE when ordering. Alternatively, by arrangement, you prescription can be sent to the Pharmacy (either next door to the surgery, or on Market Street in the centre of New Mills), so that they can prepare your medication for your collection.

Prescription reviews

From time-to-time your treatment will need to be reviewed by the doctor or practice nurse. When this is necessary you will be asked to attend a consultation to review your medication.
