Out of hours care If you call us when we are closed, your call will automatically be diverted to our out of hours service. If you are calling with a general enquiry, or wanting to book an appointment, you will be asked to call back during our opening hours. If you require medical attention which cannot wait until the surgery reopens, you will be connected to an NHS Professional who will advice you, and explain the options available to you. Options will include: Visiting your pharmacist for a remedy or treatment; Waiting to see your doctor the next day (through Triage, if necessary); Speaking to a health professional by telephone to discuss your symptoms; Attending the North Peak Healthcare Urgent Care Centre, which is based at New Mills Clinic; Being visited by an out of hours GP or a paramedic; Provision of an ambulance to take you to hospital; or Immediate referral to the Accident and Emergency department at Stepping Hill Hospital.
