Immunisation Clinics and Growth and Development Clinics are held at Sett Valley Medical Centre and the appointments are arranged by the Health Visitors. In addition, a Baby Clinic is held on Monday morning, and a Postnatal Group on Thursday morning.

We offer an emergency contraception service to all patients. If you require emergency contraception please contact the surgery and you will either be contacted by the Triage team or offered an appointment with a GP or nurse. |

This clinic follows a Department of Health initiative to promote and raise patients’ awareness of healthier lifestyles. The aim is to minimise the risk of heart disease, diabetes, high blood pressure and other chronic diseases, and also help with weight loss. The service is free, confidential and discreet service, and is aimed at patients with a higher than average body-mass index. Please either ask your doctor, nurse or at reception, if you are interested in this clinic. |

Each October we offer flu vaccinations to our patients who fall into certain categories including the over 65s, patients who suffer with asthma, COPD, heart disease. |
| Maternity Clinics |
Appointments arranged by midwives |
These clinics are run by midwives. When your pregnancy is confirmed you should collect a Pregnancy Pack from the reception desk and complete the registration form, leaving it with the Receptionist. You will then be contacted by the midwife who will arrange your booking. |
| Minor Surgery |

Each of the GPs has a Minor Surgery Session usually once a month. When necessary, an appointment will be arranged for you by your GP during a surgery consultation. |

| Vasectomy Clinic |
Friday afternoon |
Vasectomy Clinics are run at the surgery on Friday afternoons. To arrange an appointment, you may either see a GP, or ask at reception and you will be sent an appointment by post. Initially you will be invited to a counselling appointment with Dr Williams and be given an appointment for the procedure to be carried out, usually the following week. |
