Flu Vaccinations 2009
Flu vaccination clinics will be held on Saturday 10 October 9.00am-2.00pm and Tuesday 20 October 6.00pm-8.00pm.

If you fall into any of the following categories, you will be eligible for a flu vaccination at one of these clinics. No appointments are neccesary in these clinics.

Over 65s
People with respiratory disease
 Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), bronchitis emphysema, cystic fibrosis, bronchiectasis, and some people with asthma
People with heart disease
 Angina, heart failure, previous heart attack
People with kidney disease
 Chronic renal failure, undergoing dialysis, previous kidney transplant
People with diabetes
People with a weak immune system
 No spleen or splenic dysfunction, people taking high dose steroids, HIV, cancer, radiotherapy, chemotherapy
People with a history of:
 Stroke or transient ischaemic attack (TIA), Multiple Sclerosis (MS), some diseases of the central nervous system


Due to the high demand we are expecting we will have to keep to the strict criteria above. However once the initial Flu Clinics have been held if you feel that there is a reason why you should have a jab please contact the surgery and we will do our best to meet your need.
