Appointments, advice and visits
GP consultations

All consultations (routine or emergency) are by appointment. Appointments can be booked up to 48 hours in advance, either in person or by telephoning our reception.

Appointments may not always be available with the doctor of your choice, but do not worry if you cannot see a specific member of our team. Whoever you see will have full access to your medical notes during your consultation, so they will be aware of your medical history and any ongoing treatments.

If we do not have any appointments available within 48 hours, you will be offered our Triage service.

If you are unable to keep your appointment please let us know as soon as possible.

Advice

You do not need to book an appointment if you just want some advice. Instead, you can speak to a healthcare professional by telephone, using our Triage service.

Just telephone the surgery and give the receptionist your name, telephone number, and a brief indication of the advice you require. A healthcare professional will then telephone you on the same day, to help and advise you.

Home visits

If you are too ill to attend the Medical Centre for an appointment, please telephone us before 10.00am where possible. Home visits can be arranged where necessary, but you may be telephoned by the doctor first.
